There’s a saying that goes, “The Gospel is free, but it’s not cheap.” Yes, the Gospel message is free, but have you ever been a missionary trying to go to a foreign country to preach the Gospel? For some reason, airlines want you to pay for your ticket. Gas stations actually want you to pay for the gas you put in your car. And all these printing companies want you to pay them before they start printing Bibles and books about Jesus. The Gospel message may be free, but it still costs money for you to carry out the plan of God.
If we are going to do what God has called us to do, it is going to take money. There’s no way of getting around it. You’re going to have to have money to do it. But God has already provided a way for you to get the money you need to finance what He has called you to do. Just like everything else we need in life – it is found in the Bible.
