Turbulence In The Natural – Turbulence In The Spirit
There has been much turbulence in the natural realm and many have been greatly affected by what has occurred. I saw a report that said since the year 2000 there have been more natural disasters on earth than any other time in recorded history.
There is a spiritual world that is more real than the physical world, but most of us are not aware of it and how it interacts with the natural world. When Jesus was crucified natural events took place. And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. (Luke 23:44-45) In another scripture it says the rocks were rent, and there was a great earthquake. 51And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent. (Matthew 27:51) These were natural things that were caused by a spiritual event. These disasters in the physical world today are caused by things happening in the spiritual realm. I pray that the spirit of seeing and knowing will come upon our leaders in the church so we don’t walk around spiritually dumb wondering what is going on.
Dad Hagin used to say that many wouldn’t know the Holy Ghost if He came walking down the aisle with a red hat on. I believe it. I was in Canada, with Dad Hagin, just a few weeks before he moved to heaven. The entire electrical power grid in the northeastern U.S. failed. The electrical power failed all the way to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and beyond for days. Dad Hagin’s meeting was stopped and had to be moved to another location. This was caused from the realm of the spirit from satanic powers. Dad Hagin was under great spiritual attack there. He privately disclosed this to several of us ministers that were there. Satan wanted to shut his mouth (2 Corinthians 12) because he was leading the church in the right direction. The devil knew if he could get him off the scene he could cause havoc in the church with doctrines of devils. Dad Hagin would never allow what leaders in the church are allowing right now. The church is becoming a play ground for the devil because the Word of God is being compromised, scoffed and mocked, by those who are supposed to be leaders in the church.
Satan, Peter and Jesus – What Do We Do?
And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. (Luke 22:31-34)
Jesus told Peter that Satan had desired to sift him as wheat. Satan is sifting the church today with his ideas, sin, doctrines of devils and man’s ideas. What is going on in the natural world is a type and shadow of what is going on in the spiritual world. There is a shaking and sifting going on in the church. Jesus was telling Peter he was not ready for his future. Peter said he was, but he wasn’t.
You have been experiencing many things that have sifted your life, ministry or church. There will be a total collapse of man’s effort to have church without the Holy Ghost. This sifting is trying to get those things that would cause you to fail out of your life and ministry. God will not be mocked and He will not wink at man’s ignorance any longer. He told Noah to get into the Ark and then the Lord shut the door and it was too late for anyone else to enter in. Please, do not ignore the Holy Ghost as He deals with you to make changes.
We need to forget the fancy stuff and turn back to the Word of God and prayer. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. May the Spirit of Seeing and Knowing come upon you greatly! Dad Hagin taught us to pray greatly for it.
