There is a solution to the problems of our nation and church. There is also a solution to any problem a person may have. I don’t want to just point out problems, I also want to give a solution for them. There is a divine order in prayer. The first step is to pray for others first, and for all those in authority.
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name, I pray for your plans and purposes to take place in this earth in the life of every human being. I pray that people will be born again, set free from satanic powers, filled with the Holy Ghost, healed and that Christ may be formed in them.
I pray for President Obama and his administration and cabinet. I pray that you will open their understanding to know your will and carry it out in our nation. I bind harassing demonic spirits that try to influence them and command you to leave them alone in the name of Jesus Christ.
I pray for Senator Harry Reid and the Democratic Party to understand and act on your wisdom, Father, that would bring about your will in our nation for the good of the American people.
I pray for Representative John Boehner and the Republican Party that they will know your will and act on it for the good of the American people.
I pray for the Supreme Court to pass laws that would agree with the Bible and promote your will in our nation.
I pray for all our armed forces divisions and your protection upon them. I pray they will have your wisdom in every conflict and make the right choices. I pray that we will not go to war needlessly or for political reasons only.
I pray for all those in authority on the federal level, all our State Governors and state officials and all of our city and county officials to know your will and act upon it for the good of the people.
Satan, in the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to take your hands off all those in authority.
Heavenly Father, I pray for an outpouring of the Spirit of God upon all the leaders and Christians in the church and pour out your Spirit upon the United States of America. I ask you to have mercy upon us all and I remind you of the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for us on Calvary. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ upon our nation.
Heavenly Father, I pray that you will pour out your Spirit on every people group, tribe and nation on earth. Send laborers into the harvest of this earth so they can be saved. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
