Whether you are ready for it or not, the Holy Ghost outpouring is coming. During these last days, the Lord is going to bless His people financially. He has to because there are a lot of things that need to happen that require finances. Let me balance it out. The Lord told me He could give some folks a million dollars and it would be their ruin and damnation instead of their salvation. He said that you have to preach the character of God along side of prosperity. If you don’t have the character of God in your life to balance the prosperity that is coming, you’ll get a big head and fall.
Your motivation and the attitude of your heart have to be right. You need to take time to develop the fruit of the Spirit in your life. You can look around and see people who came into an abundance of finances, yet lost everything. Money was their ruin. If you haven’t developed your character and your motives aren’t pure, supernatural finances will bring you down. It’s time to get your heart right. God doesn’t mind you being blessed with money. So get ready for it. God is giving us time to get ready for this outpouring. We’ll get our character right. We’ll walk and talk right. We’ll live right. We’ll develop the fruit of the spirit in our lives. We’ll walk in love and live the way God said to live. Because if we don’t, we’re not going to make it. The closer we get to the coming of the Lord, the holier our lives need to be. I was preaching at a church one morning and the Holy Ghost came on me. My tongue was hooked up to my heart and this came out of my mouth before I could stop myself. I said that in this last day move of God, Christians are going to die like flies. Folks that don’t get ready and prepare for the outpouring aren’t going to make it.
In Acts chapter 1 Jesus told the disciples to be filled with the spirit. In Acts chapter 2 they started to flow in the power of God. We see that the more that God’s power increased, the more His judgment increased. It was apparent that Ananias and Sapphira had problems. But God gave them space to repent. They got away with a lying heart in Acts chapter 2, 3 and 4. During that time the disciples were teaching and preaching – probably saying, “Get right with God. Get ready for His outpouring.” But Ananias and Sapphira kept dabbling around with wrong attitudes and motives. One day in Acts chapter 5, it came time for them to be truthful to God, but they lied. They just told one little white lie and dropped dead. The judgment of God showed up.
The closer we get to the end of time, the closer we get to the judgment of God. You will not be able to get away with the things that you used to get away with. The closer we get to the end, the closer we get to His power. You can’t have God’s power without God’s judgment. It’s time to examine yourself and check your motives. I want to be right, don’t you?
God’s anointing can take you places that your character cannot keep you. When God’s power begins to move and you get caught up in this flow, you can go places. You can be swept into a place in God that your character, if it’s not developed, can’t keep you.
A good example of this is Samson. He was anointed with the power of God. Did he stay there? No. He wound up in prison. That’s exactly where the devil wants to take you. You see ministers across the country who were in high positions, but have fallen because of the lack of character in their life. If you’re not ready for this outpouring, you might wind up like Ananias and Sapphira.
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. – Hebrews 12:5-6
Why does the Lord chasten you? To get you right. He wants you to walk in His ways and reverently respect Him. God cannot judge the world if He doesn’t first judge the church. The Bible says that judgment must first begin at the house of God. God has absolutely no right to judge any sinner unless He pours out His judgment on the church first.
If you go back to the Old Testament, you’ll see that God judged His people. The judgment of God is in the church today, and it’s going to increase more so than ever before. You say, Brother Randy, “Are you trying to make me afraid of God?” No, I’m trying to make you respect and reverence Him. God means what He says. Some folks live like the devil and then come to church shouting glory, hallelujah. Those days are gone forever. The Bible says that He is coming back for a glorious church – not a sin-ridden church. What we need to do is repent and get right with God. I’m not talking about digging up things. You know whether you’re right with God or not. If you don’t know, I can tell you. Are you saved and walking in the light of the Gospel? Have you been running somebody down? Have you been talking about somebody? Beating your neighbor down? Get that mess out of your life. Just a few words killed Ananias, and fewer words killed Sapphira. You have to watch what you say. If they would have answered differently, they would have lived and not died. That kind of thing will destroy you if you don’t walk in the will, and plan and purpose of God. I’m going to do exactly what God says to do.
Get ready for the outpouring. Get your heart and character right. Get your faith set. Get ready. God is with you!
