While praying, September 24, 2004, around 11:45 a.m., I had a spiritual vision. This vision was of the judgment of God. I saw devastation and destruction, people weeping and crying in sorrow and repentance. I tried to plead my case with the Lord for why it should be stopped, but every time I did, the Lord stopped me and pleaded His case.
He had me get out my Bible and read out loud what happened in Noah’s day and in Sodom and Gomorrah.
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. (Gen 6:5-8)
And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. (Gen 18:20-21)
The Lord pleaded His case with me and told me that sin had reached its fullness in the earth, just like in Noah’s day and in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord said, “If I do not judge sin now it will not be fair to the people of Noah’s day nor to Sodom and Gomorrah.”
THE JUDGMENT OF GOD WILL BRING SPIRITUAL RESTORATION
The Lord revealed to me that judgment seemed bad to me because I was looking at it the wrong way. He said, “It would be mercy and grace, if I knew someone was headed to hell but knew allowing judgment to come on them would wake them up and cause them to repent and not go to hell.” I agreed with Him and said, “not my will, but thy will be done,” just like Jesus prayed in the Garden.
Jesus told me that Spiritual Restoration would happen as a result of judgment. The Glory of God will fill us to overflowing and the Glory will spill out. The gifts of the Spirit will be in full manifestation and the harvest of the lost will take place. This judgment, is a warning and wake up call that Jesus will come very soon! The fullness of time has come. Jesus is about to return for His people. After that, tribulation like no one has ever known will take place on the earth!
Though this vision happened over 10 years ago, I still remember what the Lord spoke to me – judgment brings spiritual restoration.
