And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
I encourage you to thank and praise our Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ, for their goodness to you. If we are not careful, we focus on what is bad instead of what is good. This can lead to complaining and grumbling. If you will concentrate on the goodness of the Lord you will find many things to be thankful for.
You may be facing tough times but you can thank the Lord because He has and is making a way of escape for you! The walls of Jericho fell after Joshua and Israel shouted and thanked and praised God.
Don’t get bitter and sad, be glorious and glad because the Lord has made a way for you, where there has been no way before. He has opened heaven’s door and is pouring out more and more of His blessings in your life!
