And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (Romans 1:28-32)
Whenever something terrible happens on a national level, people are quick to ask “why did this happen?” Then every new station has commentators, dictators, and sweet potaters come on to give their ‘professional opinion’ as to why this person did this terrible thing or that person did that terrible thing. Why did this person bomb this place, or run over this person, or shoot up this place? Did you know that there were close to 700 mass shootings in the United States in 2021? And in 2022 there were 735 mass shootings in the United States? Most of these you never hear about unless you live close to where it happened.
That isn’t to include all the other horrible crimes that would boggle the mind that take place across the country. When these things happen, people like to speculate and give their opinion as to why these things happen. But if they would simply stop and look at the Bible, they would find the reason behind these things. A person with a reprobate mind is always capable of diabolical violence of all types. This person is irrational in their thinking and justifies that evil is right before they do it. Normally, a demon has entered into them also, but not always.
This violence, I am sad to say, has greatly increased since 2006 when much of the church embraced the culture of the world and brought it into the church. Look at the statistics yourself. What the Bible calls sin began to be accepted by mainstream Bible-believing churches. The messages of the fathers and mothers in the faith were considered to be from a washed up old fogey and cast aside. Correcting saints for wrong doing was thrown out, and the message of tolerance and acceptance of almost any lifestyle was declared to be acceptable by the Lord, because He loves you as you are. Yes, He loves you, but if you are born again, your lifestyle will agree with the Bible. It may shock you to know that not all people will go to Heaven and there will be billions of people in Hell.
We can blame all this evil on the government, society, secret plots to form a one world government, schools and universities and we would be partly correct because they are involved in it. To be absolutely correct, we must place the blame squarely on the shoulders of most of the church. I regret to inform you, those with the greatest fault are the church leaders who accepted the culture of the world into the church to the point that it became powerless and ineffective at influencing the world from evil to good. The Lord Jesus Christ is heart broken and grieves as He looks at the overall condition of the church today that is no longer the salt of the earth.
I do not want to say the Lord told us so, but the Lord warned us these things would occur and continue to get worse if the church does not repent. The Lord has told this to me and He has said it through Dad Hagin. It is not an opinion. It is a fact.
Don’t be discouraged though. Even though others won’t go on with God and take their place of authority in Christ, that doesn’t mean you have to go with them. You stand against the powers of darkness, continue to pray for those in authority – in the church and in the nation. Keep following what the Word says and what the Holy Spirit says. The Christian today will shine brightly in this dark world around us. We can bring hope to the hopeless, faith to the faithless and freedom to those who are bound in the glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! God is with us!
