Most Christians realize that the church is not in a battle with flesh and blood but with demonic spirits that want to continue to destroy our nation (Eph. 6:12). This spiritual battle greatly intensified in 2006 when false doctrine was introduced and was embraced by many in the church. Jude states it clearly in the Bible, “Turning the Grace of our God into lasciviousness.” (Jude 4)
In February 2008, the Lord permitted me to see into the realm of the spirit. I saw a demonic creature that had taken hold of the presidential office of the United States. The Lord told me to warn the church and pray to change things in the nation before the presidential election of 2008.
As you know, the wrong president was elected, and evil increased in the land. Hardly any Christian, except Christians who voted for him, believed that he would be elected again in 2012 after his policies brought great political, economic, social, and spiritual decline to the nation. He was elected again, to the shock of the church world. The devil used him mightily to destroy the nation. Debt, same-sex marriage, health insurance ruined, lawlessness, funding terrorist groups, Christianity under great attack, decline of morals and values, as well as political chaos in the nation came or increased in the nation. Take note that the church did not stop this, even though it had the power and authority to do so.
Then the Lord gave a reprieve to our nation as the people prayed. But then the church got lazy in the comfortable time and didn’t pray at the next election. In the church’s false sense of security, the devil swooped in and we got what we currently have.
Arguments have intensified among the news media and people on social media as to who will be the best president and who will be elected in the next presidential election. The Lord is looking to see what actions the church will take.
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. – 2 Chronicles 16:9
Even though all the accusations of illegal actives will sway some people’s votes, the battle will be won or lost in the Spirit. Many will on election day, under influence of demonic spirits, vote for the devil’s choice unless the church prevails. Elections are not won in the voting booth, but in the prayer room.
In our Branson, Missouri meeting on October 19, 2016, I sensed the devil had the upper hand against the weakened, lascivious grace church. We changed the entire service into a prayer meeting for the nation, even though we had prayed many times before. I was petitioning the Lord to have mercy on the church and nation because I sensed evil prevailing. The Lord reminded me about the years of the murder of babies and the rejection of the Word of God, as well as the backslidden church that turned away from the Holy Ghost.
I reminded Him of Sodom and how He would spare it for ten righteous. I pleaded for His mercy and not judgment. He said, “I have heard your and others petition. Even though darkness abounds, in this late hour of your nation, “IT IS NOT TOO LATE” to turn things around.Tell My people to obey the principles found in Revelation 3:14-22 and victory is sure.”
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. – Revelation 3:14-22
Some of these things are still true today. The church has to get serious about what we are called to do by the head of the church Himself – the Lord Jesus Christ. We cannot afford to play church anymore. There are too many people being led astray and into Hell by the devil and his crew. We have to get serious about this thing.
The Lord showed me that some things take time to be worked out in the spirit. That’s why the church can’t wait until election day to pray. That was part of our problem during the last election. We waited too long to seriously pray. We should have been praying months, if not years before it even got to election day. The upcoming election is no different. We can’t wait until election day to pray to change things in the spirit. We have to start now. I encourage you to take time and pray for our leaders, pray for the church, pray for the upcoming election. Get serious about the things of God. Don’t be lukewarm. Stoke the fires in every area of your life that is lukewarm for God and see what the Lord will do. God is with us!
