The Apostle Paul said he was not disobedient to the heavenly vision. What vision does the church presently have? What vision do you presently have? There is a worldly vision, man’s vision, cultural vision, society’s vision and there is a heavenly vision. The only vision a church, minister or Christian should desire is the heavenly vision. That is the vision that comes to us directly from the Spirit God, as we are led by His Spirit. All other visions or plans are a waste of your time and do not please God, because you are trying to accomplish your own vision instead of following God’s plan.
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. (Psalms 127:1)
Dad Hagin based his personal life and ministry on the above verse. I have done my best to follow his example. Unless you base your life and ministry upon His leading you are laboring in vain. In others words, it is a waste of your time. Stop now.
I am amazed at those who build their personal life, church and ministry on what society or the present day culture demands. It is a bunch of bunk, junk and hogwash to do so, to quote Dad Hagin. I personally have done my best not to stray from the heavenly vision the Lord gave me for my life and ministry. In that regard, I have been like concrete, throughly mixed and well set, to the disappointment of some. New fads swept through the church world, including the faith camp. The Lord told me not to embrace cultural fads, but to stay with the heavenly vision He had given. I haven’t been perfect at it, but I continue to press toward the mark. There are others who have done the same thing, thank God.
Our nation has much demonic activity in it today because of the failure of God’s people in not following the heavenly vision. It is exactly why we have the political, social, spiritual, financial and health instability today. God is a good God, and only desires the best for His people.
Certainly, you understand things are not right, and something is wrong. If you don’t, you probably need to get saved, and start seeking God with prayer and fasting. Seek God for yourself and don’t listen to me or anyone that says they are a prophet or preacher if it does not agree with His Word and Spirit. Pray until you know what God is saying to you.
The United States of America is in trouble and full of demonic activity right now. Many Christians are backslid and caught up in cultural trends of society instead of being filled with the Holy Ghost. Many are preaching another Jesus that is not the Jesus Christ of the Bible. This is why we have the mess we do in our nation. The majority of the church is powerless against the devil.
You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed. But I don’t consider myself inferior in any way to these “super apostles” who teach such things. I may be unskilled as a speaker, but I’m not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every possible way.( 2 Co.11:4)
Political And Social
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? (Acts 1:6)
Jesus appeared to the disciples after He had risen from the dead. Their focus was on natural things, by the question they asked Him. It was a political question that He did not answer. I’m guessing, He sighed heavily before He said, “It is not for you to know.” Many today are guessing, seeking and desiring to know the political climate and give the review. It’s not for you to know. He will tell us if we need to know anything.
Many are caught up in overthrowing the government and political parties that are corrupt, and against Christianity. We can speak up, but not get caught up and over-focused on this.
The political situation was worse in the days of Jesus Christ. The Roman’s controlled the Jewish people. There was very little freedom. Jesus did not try to overthrow the Roman Empire, even though they had taken over Israel’s government by force. He was God manifested in the flesh and could have done so. He could have started a war to end all wars. He could have called legions of angels to come and assist Him and the Jewish people, but He didn’t.
Why? He was following the “Heavenly Vision” from God His Father. Politics was not His calling. Overthrowing the Roman government was not His calling, even though they despised the Jewish people and their faith in God. BUT! There is coming a day when every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord of all Lords, like it or not!
That day is in the plan of God and I am to focus on the Heavenly Vision He has given until that time. It is not my job to overthrow the government; it is my job to pray, fast and crucify the flesh, and seek God with all my heart and do what He tells me.
Following The Heavenly Vision
What is the “heavenly vision?” It is the greatest move of God ever known to the human race coming upon planet earth, prayed for and sent down from heaven! Yes, Jesus Christ Himself will oversee and steward this move of God through His remnant church that He has prepared. So you can rest easy, the devil is not going to take over until this move occurs. The remnant is going to prosper and overcome the gates of hell! Prepare yourself to live in, and be caught up in His Glory! It will be the book of Acts of supernatural events multiplied by ten. Healing the sick, raising the dead, angels appearing, Jesus appearing, preachers being translated like Phillip, and a Holy Ghost outpouring the world has never seen! Pray for this, seek God for this. Major on this. Heaven is upon us!!
