I have had a few spiritually significant dreams. In April 2008, I had a dream concerning President Bush before he left office. In this dream, I was walking up a hill on a road in a remote area. Nothing was around and I didn’t see any trees, buildings or people.
I walked up the hill on the road looking ahead of me. I saw someone walking towards me but I couldn’t make out who it was. When we got closer, I could see it was President Bush and he was by himself. I wondered what in the world he was doing walking on this road in a remote area? We came within a few feet of each other and stopped. He looked up at me and I looked down at him. I waited for him to speak for a few minutes but he never said a word, he just looked up at me. (I was taller than he was.)
Suddenly the Spirit of God came upon me! I said to him, “President Bush, please don’t be a lame duck president in the last months of your time in office. There are things the Lord Jesus wants you to do that you have not accomplished.” He responded and said, “You’re right son, the Lord Jesus told me to run for president and there are things I have failed to do.” He stood there in deep thought for a while. Then he grasped my hand and shook it and turned to walk off.
Suddenly, he turned around and said to me, “I want to ask you something before I go. What do you think about my policy in Israel?” I was shocked and didn’t know how to answer him. Again, the Spirit of God came upon me! I said, “President Bush, sir, there are only two people that are going to bring peace in Israel. One is the antichrist and the other is Jesus Christ. If you are not either one of them, please leave Israel alone.”
I could hardly believe I had spoken so boldly, because I sure didn’t plan to! President Bush stood there and looked up at me sternly for a while. I was wondering what in the world is he going to do to me? I was thinking he might call the Secret Service to come and get me! Finally, He said, “Thank you” and turned and walked away.
After that experience, I noticed he calmed down on his strategy for Israel. I do not believe he ever accomplished, fully, what the Lord Jesus wanted him to do. I believe he was hindered by the powers of darkness, which was caused by a lack of prayer by the saints. The terrorists attacks on the United States are also because of a lack of prayer and by saints not using their dominion over the powers of darkness.
