I was ministering during a meeting not too long ago when the Lord told us that we needed to pray in the Spirit much more than we have been. When you are speaking in tongues you are speaking to God, and He understands your prayers, whether you do or not. Dad Hagin said all the major revelations and leadings he received came as a result of him praying in other tongues for hours and hours. It has been the same for me also. Don’t miss the will of God for your life. Don’t get caught up in all the trappings that the world has to offer. Lay aside anything that would keep you from praying like you should. You will be blessed immeasurably if you seek Him.
The problem that happens is not that we don’t have time to pray. The problem is that we have been caught up in things that have no eternal benefit. During this same meeting, the Lord told us that Christians are overly occupied with worldly entertainment and amusement. He knows resting is necessary from time to time, but many are consumed with the pleasures of this world. How many Christians do you see in church flipping through social media – in church??? Many Christians are consumed with things in this world that are causing a deficit in their prayer life and their walk with the Lord.
The Lord went on and said, “If anything in this world is more important to you than Jesus Christ, you are missing God.” Many in the church seek entertainment more than they seek God in prayer, hence the downfall of our society and nation. The political and social upheaval, plagues, riots, murders, sexual debauchery, murder of babies, and decline of our military might, etc is the fault of the church. It’s the church’s fault.
It is not the fault of Mr. Biden, Mrs. Harris, democrats, republicans, congress, the supreme court, big tech, the socialists or communists as most of the church world believes. They could not be where they are unless God permitted it because the church failed to pray and take authority over these evil spirits behind it all.
God could not stop it. That’s right. Almighty God Himself could not stop the evil plans of the devil on the earth. Don’t shout me down. That’s what the Bible says. He has given authority to the church to take their place and bind the powers of darkness from working in the earth. But instead of going to work and doing what the Lord said, many have been caught up in entertainment and every other thing the world can offer.
Yes, those mentioned above are a part of the puzzle, but the church has the ultimate responsibility for all the evil in the nation. Ninety-nine percent, or more, of the church world is focused on the wrong issues. It’s not a time to be consumed with politics, entertainment, social agendas, or anything like that. The message of the hour is to turn to God, repent for the sins of the church and nation, and ask God to have mercy upon us for our disobedience. When we stop blaming everyone and everything else besides the church, things will change for the better. Weed out all those things hindering you from giving God the place of priority that He deserves. God will take care of those who seek Him.
