Say It To Receive It part 4

December 24, 2013 By Rev. Randall Grier

say-it-to-receive-itFor assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. – Mark 11:23-24

The Bible is clear about the principle of confession. When most people hear the word confession, they think of it in a negative sense. Usually they think about confession of sins. However, the Bible has much more to say about positive confession than negative confession.

The confession of the Word of God is a key to receiving the promises of God. In the above scripture you see that the word ‘say‘ is used far more than ‘believe.’  That is because it is important to say, even more than just believing. If we only believe, nothing will happen, but if we continually confess what it is that we believe, then we will receive what we are believing for.

In this series, Rev. Grier shares what the Bible says about confession of God’s Word.

About Rev. Randall Grier

Rev. Randall Grier answered the call of the Lord Jesus to preach the Gospel while on his third escape from prison in May of 1982. Rev. Grier surrendered to the call of God and turned himself in to the authorities. While praying out behind the prison on April 5, 1984, he had a supernatural experience with Jesus. Jesus said, “I am anointing you today to begin to enter into the ministry I have called you to and nations and countries will be changed through this anointing.” That very day Rev. Grier entered into a powerful anointing to set the captive free. He was released from prison on August 27, 1984 after being told he would be released in the month of 'none' - all by a miracle of God!
